End-user licence agreement
This agreement is between you and Ihsan Md Al Aqib ("we"). By installing or using HogFinder you accept it. If you do not accept it, do not install or use the software.
1. Free licence
You may install and use the free features of HogFinder on any number of computers you own or manage, for personal or business use, at no charge.
2. Pro licence
A paid Pro licence, once purchased, activates the Pro features on up to [2] computers used by you (or, for a technician licence, up to the number of computers stated in the order). A subscription licence works while the subscription is paid; a lifetime licence works for the current major version. When a Pro licence ends or is refunded, Pro features turn off and the free features continue.
3. What you may not do
- copy, sell, rent, lease or distribute the software, except to give an unchanged copy of the free installer to others;
- remove or work around the licence check, or share licence keys;
- decompile or reverse engineer the software, except where the law allows it despite this restriction;
- use the software to damage or interfere with computers you do not own or have no permission to manage;
- use our name or logo to suggest that we endorse you.
4. Your files and your choices
The software can move, delete and uninstall things on your computer, and remove registry keys, only after you choose them. The default is to move files to a quarantine that you can restore for 7 days. You are responsible for what you choose to remove and for keeping backups. Do not use the software on computers you do not have permission to manage.
5. Privacy
The current version makes no network connections and sends no data to us. See the privacy policy for what is stored on your computer and what changes when Pro licensing and updates are released.
6. Updates
We may release updates that fix problems, add features or follow changes in Windows. Some features may change or be removed in later versions; features that are free in this version will not be moved to Pro without notice in the release notes.
7. Ownership and third-party software
We own the software and its documentation. You get a licence to use it, not ownership. The software includes third-party components under their own licences, which are listed in the software's third-party notices (for example Microsoft.Diagnostics.Tracing.TraceEvent, MIT licence).
8. No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the software is provided "as is", without any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement, and we do not promise that it is error-free or that it will work on every Windows setup.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, loss of data, loss of profits or business interruption arising from the software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in the 12 months before the claim, or to [USD 10] if you only use the free version. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
10. Ending this agreement
You may stop using the software at any time by uninstalling it. We may end your licence if you break this agreement. Sections 4, 7, 8, 9 and 12 continue after it ends.
11. Export and sanctions
You may not use or give access to the software where doing so would break applicable export or sanctions law.
12. Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country says otherwise.
